First Real Entry

I guess this counts as a real entry, right?

Anyway, hi. I'm, Quasi, and I wanted a blog for a while, and this is an attempt. I tried LiveJournal and it was too happy and I tried DeadJournal and it was too depressing, and I tried Xanga and it was too hard to pronounce. So now I'm running it off my own server space and I finally have control. Yes, I'm running it via Blogger, but I guess it's survivable. I'm going to try and get a proper client so I don't have to do it this way, but hey. Also, I'm going to get a little photo album going, just so when I have my next HDD failure, I'm covered for my memories.

A little about me. I'll probably put this in one of those silly profile things later, but for now I'm just going to put it here. I'm 20 years old as of tomorrow. I'm a student in London, and I'm about to begin a new adventure in young life. I'm moving out of halls next year and moving in with friends, and I'm going away by myself this Summer and I'm just getting into the student groove. Before you question it, I'm male, straight, and pretty average in most respects. I'm about to end teenage life, and I guess I could publicly document it so that maybe on this server somewhere in America there is one relic of my young life when I die.

But then again I'm thinking of getting a different server anytime now. Probably my own in this house I'm gettting. But that's too nerdy for a first post.

I'm looking forward to using this blog, and looking forward to the next few years. But it's all going to be fun, I think.
