A Gorgeous Day

I can't complain about the weather here in Fremont. Actually, I can, it was a bit too hot today, but consistent pleasant weather is better than too hot and frequent wet. I do miss rain though.

I saw Kiana today, which was great. It was pretty much the original intention of coming here. I personally didn't care how people perceived my intentions, as stalkerish, creepy, evil, whatever; I know my own intentions, and they are not negative. I am happy with what has happened, it has been worth it to see her, even if only for a couple of hours today. I haven't had a hug that put me at ease for 12 days, and the prospect of not hugging her for an entire summer was rather grim. I am sorry that I didn't get to surprise her (like in a movie style way), but it might not have gone well, and as things have turned out, I wouldn't have had things turn out differently. We had a very funny chat, and it was very good to see her again.

With fingers crossed, hopefully we'll be able to go on a road trip together, as long as I contribute "gas money". My goodness, it's petrol. Petroleum. I cannot adjust to some of the words here. Though I did call it "soccer" without thinking. Erin seems to think I'm being Californianised without her even trying.

Erin and Yukina are going out to a friend's house for dinner, so they'll be there until late. I'm in Starbucks again for just the consistency of the connection (this time I actually asked the barrista to "surprise me", and I got a Banana Mocha Frappucino). The connection holds true no matter what, plus it's stable enough to Skype from. So I'll give Kiana a call in a short while. I have put much thought into things here, but there are coming out to be rather fruitless, and I fear that I may be getting my own hopes up. Though I am still going to investigate.

No new quotes on bash today I'm afraid, but I'll keep submitting.

I said hello to many people, and I won't be doing that today, seeing as I have no thumbs.

Anyway, I'm going to browse the internet for a bit. I hope every friend I have is well, and that life is going excellently.
